Washington-based KiwiTech, a mobile technology firm, has developed a cutting-edge iPad app for Eros Entertainment. The app will allow the fans of Bollywood movies to access the latest movie trailers, photos, exclusive behind the scenes, songs, trivia and other content.

KiwiTech is a mobile app company with an emphasis on media and
entertainment and has developed over 600 apps for iPhone, BlackBerry,

Rakesh Gupta, CEO, KiwiTech, has more than 20 years of experience in the publishing sector and is responsible for long-term strategic planning. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachleor’s degree in electrical engineering from Ohio State University. He has served as Governor Mark Warner’s appointee on the Board of the Center for Innovative Technology, an organization focused on creating a better environment for entrepreneurial comapneis in Virginia. Rakesh is also a former President of TiE-DC, the DC chapter of TiE.
The new app is free and has become one of the top free app in the Indian iTunes app store within a day of its release. With a variety of content and an attractive, user-friendly layout, this app gives Bollywood fans a brand new way to experience new movies and songs from Eros. Inclusive is the fun features, such as fake movies posters and an interactive quiz, which make the app a unique entertainment app from Eros.

Batra graduated from the prestigious engineering school, Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi in 1987, where he earned an engineering degree in electronics and communications.
