What makes us watch female villains? Or what makes them memorable for all the time? Female villains like Wilhelmina in Ugly Betty, Leidy in the erotic thriller Leidy's New Boyfriend are the ones who will do anything to get what they want. It's obvious that they will make us cringe, curse, cry, roll our eyes, and throw stuff at the screen but still we love to watch them do havoc on those poor, helpless characters in their path. The fact is ..a successful hero can never exist without these anti heroes against their goal. Here are some of the best Hollywood female villains you always love to hate.

Everybody knows The Wicked Witch of the West. Margaret Hamilton made this character memorable in the famous film The Wizard of Oz. Wicked Witch of the West stays as a symbol of evil, sin and havoc. The witch happily lived by hunting down poor and adorable Dorothy and her loveable dog Toto. She was doing all these evil things by relying on her army of flying monkeys. Her famous immortal lines in the film are "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too".

Nurse Ratched in the 1975 movie One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. Louise Fletcher received the Oscar for Best Actress for her performance in this film. Her role as autocratic nurse rules over the psychiatric ward of a mental hospital got her a title of fifth worst movie villain by the American Film Institute. She controls the patients by increasing the pills and abusing their egos. This even leads to the death of one young patient.

She is a confident business woman, paved her way into our hearts week after week with her cunning, provoking and insistent tactics. The young and inexperienced Andrea "Andy" Sachs moves to Newyork city with a dream of making a good career start in a popular fasion magazine but the cruel, ruthless, sarcastic, boss Miranda Priestly(Meryl Streep) breaks her dreams in to pieces.
