The Worst Fictional Bosses

Bosses are seen as devils in disguise and are on the hate list of their employees. Though in real life they are scary, the characters playing bosses in movies are always scheming and treat them as their personal slaves who are made to dance to the tunes of the boss. Here are the worst bosses from movies.

John Milton

Bosses are generally referred to as devils, and John Milton aka Al Pacino in The Devil’s Advocate is the Satan himself, who lures Kevin, the protagonist with a large sum of money and a posh apartment to join his law firm. Being the Satan himself, John treats his employees exceptionally well, just in return of their immortal soul. He not just leads Kevin’s wife commit suicide but also asks him to walk the immoral path. After Kevin realizes that the whole incident was a dream, he is greeted by a reporter, Mr. Satan again, who promises to make Kevin a star. In short a scary boss, who would go to any extremes to get his employees bow down to him.

Gordon Gekko

A boss who loves money above anything else in the world, Gordon Gekkko from ‘Wall Street’ is surely a boss to keep distance from. He indulges in every possible method to make his employees keep their morals aside so as to gain money. He is a narcissist, who has no interest in seeing his employees grow, or do anything which does not reap profits for him. A boss whose favorite line is ‘Greed is good” and he values money over the principles or the values of his company and his employees.

Miranda Priestly, the Devil from ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, is the typical dominating boss, who expects her employees to agree to everything she says. She sends her new assistant to get an unpublished manuscript of the next Harry Potter book to make her children happy. Miranda makes life a hell for her employees with her never ending demands; be it official or personal. She makes her assistants run around to pick her pets, get her clothes from laundry and so on. Her character is such a fright for the employees that they refrain from making critical remarks about her to even their close friends, due to the fear of getting fired. A boss who derives her happiness by making her employees is sure a scary one.
