Reliance Launches India's First CMDA Tablet

Reliance Communication has announced a new CDMA tablet for the Indian market; the new tablet comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch screen with Android 2.3 OS, 512 MB RAM and a micro SD external storage. By this launch the company has become the first one to have tablets in both 3G and CDMA networks.

The device  has a 2.0 megapixel rear camera, a front camera, weighs 397 grams and is preloaded with 15 popular applications to offer information services, communication services, entertainment services, social networking services and also has an access to the android market.

At the launch of Reliance CDMA Tab, Sanjay Behl, group head – brand and marketing, Reliance Communications, said, "Having redefined the Tab market in the country last year with the launch and roaring success of Reliance 3G Tab, we are now yet again the first to introduce the country's first CDMA Tab. With the rapid increase in data consumption in India and with Reliance's superior HSD Network in over 1000 towns, the launch of the Reliance CDMA Tab is another step to carry forward our mission of Wirefree India."

Reliance communication has kept business users in kind while making this tablet as the device comes with a user-friendly email experience with push email capability, 'Documents To Go' that supports Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF formats and also supports Mobile TV, voice calling, GPS and video recording. This new device is also packed with attractive monthly and annual data plans offered by the company. The tablet comes with an affordable price tag of Rs. 12999.
