Samsung launched
another Honeycomb based tablet called, ‘Galaxy Tab 680’ in India which
was previously known as Galaxy Tab 7.7 globally. Online retailer,
Flipkart has put up the new Galaxy Tab 680 for sale at Rs.33,571.
The device is powered by 1.4 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and
runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system. It sports 7.7 inch super
AMOLED plus touchscreen display with 1280x800 pixels of resolution, 3
MP rear camera with LED flash, 2 MP front facing camera and a powerful
5100 mAh battery which is capable up to 49 hours of run time on 2G and
27 hours on 3G. The interesting features is that you can make voice
calls and even send SMS using GSM-SIM card.
The tablet also offers 16GB of in-built storage and for connectivity; the tablet supports HSDPA, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. The device comes in two variant Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi+3G models.
