'Toshiba Qosmio X870' Laptop: Full Entertainment

Qosmio X870 comes with a 17.3inch LED backlit screen with full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, Nvidia graphics processor which supports Nvidia's 3D Vision technology with a pair of active-shutter 3D glasses to give you 3D ecstasy.  It also has a four-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with SRS Premium Sound 3D processing and four USB 3.0 ports- two are compatible for sleep and charge. The Sleep-and-Music feature in the notebook lets you enjoy music even when the device is shutdown.

Company signifies that the Qosmio X870 will be shipped in Q2 2012 with the latest Intel processors, and a tremendous RAM capacity of up to up to 2TB of hard disk space. No details about its price.

Toshiba Releasing Tablet 'Excite LE'

Toshiba’s new tablet ‘Excite LE’ which is thinner than Droid Razr and lighter than iPad is going to be launched on March 6, 2012. Excite LE showed its first appearance at CES 2012 and was initially named Excite X10, and now it has got a final release date.

Excite LE is a 10.1-inch tablet which is unbelievably thin measuring only 0.3 inches and weighs just 535 grams. Excite LE is meant to compete with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2- a 10.1-inch tablet which is 0.38 inches thick and weighs 589 grams and iPad-9.7-inch screen tablet which is 0.34 inches thick and weighs 603 grams.

Excite LE has a 1.2GHz dual-core OMAP 4430 processor from Texas Instruments and runs on Android 2.3 which will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in this spring. The device also features Micro-USB, HDMI, Micro SD ports and front and rear-facing cameras.

Initially the device will be shipped to U.S. market costing $529.99 for the 16GB model and $599.99 for the 32GB model. Toshiba has not net confirmed this new device’s availability in the world market, but the company says variants of this tablet will be released soon for other countries.

Toshiba India launched two new series of laptop – sparkling Satellite series L740 and L750. The new sparkling series have been crafted for the customers who are cognizant about luxury and comfort giving them a choice of colours on the go and sparkling finish.

The Satellite L740 and L750 series has a large keyboard and touch pad with Multi-touch and latest processors from Intel combined with the latest integrated graphics and high speed RAM, expandable upto 8GB. SATA hard drive capacities of up to 750GB also allow users to store hundreds of documents, photos, music and videos which further brighten up on the HD LED display. L740 series has 35.6cm (14) Clear SuperView LED screen and L750 series has 39.6cm (15.6) Clear SuperView LED screen.Two stereo speakers provide a rich audio experience, and the integrated web cam and microphone make face-to-face video conferences easy to set up.

The Satellite L740 and L750 series are equipped with a selection of interfaces including three USB 2.0 ports, Wireless LAN, Fast Ethernet LAN and a Multi-Card Reader. Users can also opt between Windows 7 Home Basic and Premium OS, suited to individual needs. Along with a 6-cell battery pack, the new Satellite series laptops also feature a USB Sleep-and-Charge port. The HDMI port can connect the laptop to a LCD/LED TV effortlessly, packing its video performance to play games and watching high-definition video, making them full-fledged mobile media laptops.

The sparkling Satellite L740 and L750 series offer total 14 laptop models, in the price range of Rs.24,000 upwards with one year onsite warranty.
